Where are your surf hats made?
We're an Australian surf company, so they're designed right here in Australia, and you can view our headwear range in our stores located in Noosa, Byron Bay, and Flinders. Our manufacturing division is based in Indonesia, run by locals who we think of as family, so although 100% exclusive to Golden Breed, our hats are made in Indo.
Are your bucket surf hats UV rated for sun protection?
Officially, no, but they're thick fabrics, and like wearing most clothing, if your skin isn't exposed to the sun, you're safe and you'll be protecting your face from the sun.
Are your surf bucket hats quick dry?
Sure is, although terry towelling is a heavier weight than what other caps and hats are made of, terry cloth's fluffy texture has quick-dry properties and is ideal for keeping you cool on scorching summer days.
